The Way We Were

Ahhh! Told you I was a child bride!! Twenty Seven Years (count them) yesterday.

We were reminiscing about the day and he had a faraway look on his face, "what are you thinking about" I asked, expecting some loving and romantic line about how beautiful I looked or how perfect the day was, or how I have grown even lovlier over the years (were that possible).

"Do you remember," he said, "we left a pint of milk under the car seat" (of the car that someone had lent us for our honeymoon) " and it wasn't found for a week".

I know he's probably not your hero any more but for that line he's definitely mine!
