Happy Mothership Day
Well Happy Mothership Evening to be more precise, but it was totally worth the wait.
Spent the morning in bed with one of those horrible 2 day hormonal headaches that us middle aged ladies get. Crawled over to the church hall at lunch time for a celebration lunch for our friend's adoption of their daughter, which was really good, then we went to the Daughter and Olliphant's for dinner. The Daughter had a bit of a marathon day, with her in-laws for lunch and then us and all the Childers (except Carla who was called away to Lewes for work - we missed you Carla!) in the evening. Tobiwan cooked a really nice Pork and Cider thing and the Daughter made Mississippi Mud Pie and I got lots of flowers and cards. I have the best Childers in the world and I love them to bits!!!
So the diet was on hold for today and I'm dreading getting on the scales tomorrow. Struggling to break the 11stone barrier, even with the Reductil! But those size 12 Jeans are still calling.............
Live From Abbey Road is sounding good, with the Zutons amongst others, but it is late and my headache is still hovering and I'm away to my bed

Don't worry about the diet on Mothers Day. We have Mothers Day in this country on the middle sunday of lent - Jubilate Sunday - when you are excused for just 24 hours of anything that you are abstaining from through lent!
Glad you had a great day.
